I love stories that are radical & in a sense, shocking! Again, the hopeless romantic in me adores hearing and seeing stories of sure, secure, bold love!
With Carmia & Benjamin it sure was a cling to the edge of my seat-kind of love story! They met, fell in love, got engaged & got married! Just like that! But, of course, Ben told me that he knew the moment they met that Carmia was something and someone different, someone worth pursuing with all he has & he chose to get to know her. I listened to a podcast by a well known married couple yesterday & they emphasized what incredible hard and continuous work it takes to make a marriage flourish! But I also know once hearing someone say "I wouldn't want to do this hard work with any other partner than my spouse"
It's so captivating how you get to choose your life partner, the one you share an amazing, beautiful life with, together with the hard work and sacrifices. Team work makes the marriage dream work, although this might sound like a list of cliches, I truly do believe that marriage and devotion to nurturing a healthy, beautiful marriage takes a daily choice & intentional hard work - Whilst enjoying every moment!
